To mark the XIX Giorno della Memoria, on january the 27th 2019 Intende Voci Chorus, together with Corale Lirica Ambrosiana performs the “Chichester Psalms” by Leonard Bernstein at the Conservatory of Milano. The event is extremely important. The Conservatory has been celebrating the occurence over the past 13 years by organizing an evening of reading, remembrance and music. 2019 in particular marks the centenary of Primo Levi’s birth, thus during the night excerpts from his works are read by Geppi Cucciari.
Soloists and instruments are students of the Conservatory. Our choir, directed by Mirko Guadagnini, is joined with Corale Lirica Ambrosiana, directed by Roberto Ardigò. The conductor is Carlo Emilio Tortarolo, himself a master student of the Conservatory of Milano.
