Intende Voci Ensemble and the monteverdi’s Fourth Book of Madrigali

“Peaceful and Clear Lights”. This is the title of the INTENDE VOCI ENSEMBLE’s concert after reopening to the public post Covid-19 lockdown. The program was under the sign of hope and light, in which was performed the Fourth Book of Madrigali for 5 voices a cappella by Claudio Monteverdi and the Requiem for solo and SATB a cappella by Herbert Howells in that combination of ancient and modern that guides the artistic direction of the tenor Mirko Guadagnini.

Before the concert, the audience was taken on a guided tour of the beautiful Baroque Church of Sant’Antonio in Milan, normally closed to the public and managed by the Italian Touring Club.
