The female section of Intende Voci Chorus was the protagonist of the opening concerto of the 16th edition of the Liederìadi Festival, on November 28th, 2021. The concert, entitled “Brahms and his women” focused on the choral music composed by Brahms for his Frauenchor of Hamburg.
A narrative voice, that of the maestro concertatore Mirko Guadagnini, recounted some of the details of the composer’s life, focusing on his relationship with women, while Lieder, duets and choral pieces were alternated on the stage of the Palazzina Liberty Dario Fo and Franca Rame. The voices were soloists (Claudia Cigala, contralto – Elena Garbelli, soprano – Ilaria Molinari, mezzo-soprano – Graziella Tiboni, soprano) and choristers of Intende Voci Chorus with pianist Andrés Gallucci and Lorenzo Lombardo on viola.
